Cobb's front mounted 3.5 inch thick bar and plate intercooler provides superior efficiency and minimal pressure drop for increased power outputs. Supports over 800whp. Lightweight 2.5 inch diameter mandrel bent tubing is powder coated in a wrinkle black finish. This is a highly engineered and well thought out kit. Crash bar mounting provides accident protection and rigid mounting. A compact coolant overflow tank ensures adequate intercooler pipe clearance. An exclusive Cobb XLE recirculating bypass valve is supplied. An air temperature (IAT) bung is welded to the intercooler piping for speed density applications. Designed to work with the Cobb SF intake and airbox (airbox requires modification using the supplied cutting template).
Available in silver or heat dissipating black intercooler color. Not a direct fit for MY08-10 STI model.
