Subaru factory lower intake manifold housings eliminate for increased power output. Fits side feed injector applications. Includes set of 2 (left and right sides). Some applications require modification of the center holes of the intake manifold due to a slight mis-match in the hole locations.
Usually ships in 2 to 3 days.
What is a TGV? TGV stands for Tumble Generator Valve. It is an ECU-controlled throttle plate in the lower part of the intake manifold runner that partially closes off the runner. It is used to create air turbulence in the combustion chamber and improve fuel distribution. It is active primarily on startup at idle or low throttle positions. However, even when the plates are fully open they represent a small restriction to the incoming airflow and can hurt performance.
