RCM Superstud Head Stud Kit

RCM over-sized head stud kits provide maximum head gasket sealing by resisting head lift under extreme cylinder pressures. RCM's 14/14mm "superstud" option uses a 14 x 2.00mm thread on the block side and a 9/16-18 UNF thread on the head side allowing for a small increase in strength over a typical 14mm head stud. Modification is required to the block and heads to use these studs. RCM head gaskets or another head gasket designed around 14mm head studs are required (or center holes can be carefully reamed to size in a standard gasket). Additionally, the dowel pins will need to be replaced with RCM 14mm head dowels or otherwise modified to allow the larger stud to pass through them. Manufactured from aircraft grade S99 high-tensile steel with precision rolled threads.

Each kit includes 12 head studs, 12 ARP 12 point nuts, 12 ARP washers, and assembly lube.
