Developed from OEM GC8 STI gearbox components as an economical gearset upgrade for the Subaru 5-speed transmission. Not as close ratio as the Type RA kit and 4th and 5th gear ratios match the WRX meaning highway rpms and fuel economy will be unaffected. REM ISF® treatment is included as standard. Base kit includes gear kit with required custom metal 3.90 speedometer gear (4.11 or 4.44 (plastic gear) available by special request). Install kits are available to provide the additional parts necessary for proper installation into specific applications.
