Short shift linkage reduces shift throw (fore-aft movement) by 15 to 25% over stock for faster shifting and improved shift feel. Unlike aftermarket short shift levers STI re-engineers the entire linkage to prevent any clearance issues and to optimize the entire package. Does not affect the height of the shift lever.
